So last night the Mixed C played the Mixed D. Both teams had new pairings and subs so the Mixed C were in no way guaranteed a win. Old stalwarts Chris and Dave C won 2 of their games. D team pair, Helen and Iain, fought tooth and nail and lost narrowly to Jeremy and Steff 23 – 21 in the 3rd set. D team pair, Pete and Jayne won 2 of their games making the score 7-2 to the C team. Special mention to Jeremy who played up with Steff, Sandra who played with chairman Brian and Kay who played with David Z. A competitive, yet friendly game with drinks at the pub afterwards with the Mens A team.
